A little back track of my history with SPIRULINA.

It all started with one of my favourite reggae artist CHRONIXX. I listen to some of his songs almost everyday.

One day, I saw a video popped up under youtube suggestions with him on MUNCHIES making vegan meals and smoothie, which is where I discovered this smoothie recipe.

Since then I put it in my list of smoothie to do list. Finally I got to make it and it is one of my new found smoothie love. It is very delicious and nutritious which makes a WIN WIN MEAL SUPPLEMENT.

BENEFITS OF DATES



RECIPE


1 cup of hemp milk

1 cup of coconut milk

Handful of kale

1 frozen banana

1 date

1/4 of pumpkin seed

1tbsp of green spirulina

1tbsp of agave


METHOD

  1. First add hemp milk and coconut milk to the blender.

  2. Then add kale, frozen banana, spirulina, pumpkin seed, date, agave.

  3. Blend for 3minutes.

  4. Serve over ice, if your banana was not frozen.
